Jane holds a Bachelor of Education from York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Guelph, complemented by executive education in Coaching for High
Performance from Queen’s University. An accomplished athlete, Jane has been inducted into the University of Guelph Gryphons Athletics Hall of Fame and the Rugby Canada Hall of Fame. She has received multiple accolades, including the Rugby Canada Women in Leadership Scholarship and recognition as a Guelph 30 under 30 recipient

Jane’s teaching experience spans various roles within the Upper Grand District School Board, Halton District School Board and Ontario Mine Schools, where she has engaged students in both in-person and virtual classrooms. Her innovative approach to education emphasizes collaboration, personal health, and resilience.
